As musicians, we were inspired by early rock & roll and R&B legends of the '60s and '70s, and then followed with the folk rock of the '70s. Remember the Yorkville Sound? ...we do. Dave actually played in the old Hawk's Nest on Yonge Street. Rodger has jammed with Ronnie's band. Not sure what we learned from the '80s and '90s, but that doesn't matter. We've dug up some old, really good songs, and maybe given them a little twist, but not enough that you won't recognize them, or lose interest. And we've also dug into a bunch of really good new stuff - yes it is out there!
There's always 5 of us, but if you get lucky, there may be 6, or 7, or maybe even 11. We have lots of friends just on the other end of the phone. (Most of us still use landlines!)

Yup - for the most part we are pretty old, but don't let that scare you off. With age comes experience. Most of us have the wounds and scars from hitting the road when we were not quite so old. Yes, we recorded in real studios that used big fat reels of 2" tape. Yeah, state-of-the-art 16 track studios. But we all kept going. Mellowed, maybe, but quality musicians, each one of us in their own right.
Found some youth, as well, along the way.
Give us a listen.
We are not a classic rock band! But we do bring back a lot of classic tunes. We freshen them up a little bit by putting our own face on them. We don't twist them beyond recognition but we do our best to put a really good new face on a great piece of music. We do the same to a lot of newer stuff. We're definitely not a Classic Rock cover band.
